85th Anniversary Challenge Coin

The Georgia Department of Public Safety celebrates its 85th anniversary in 2022!  To commemorate the milestone, the Historical Society is offering this 2-inch, two-sided coin (images of each side shown), with antique silver finish and multiple colors. Side A depicts the Atlanta skyline, the patches of the three divisions of DPS (GSP, MCCD, and Capitol Police), as well as the core values around the circle.  Side B has the Georgia State Flag in the background, “85th ANNIVERSARY”, with patrol vehicles from each of the divisions of the Department, including the classic GSP Mustang!
